The Man on the Screen by Justin Carlson Soileau Verse 1 There's a man on the screen. And he talks of love and charity. In the same breath- he'll lose his head to bigotry. I know about the money, that he pushes underneath the desk. I hear all the hateful words, he screams across the TV set. Verse 2 There's a woman in white, sunglasses on her eyes. She comes in every Sunday, preaching brimstone and fire. she goes back home, to her diet pills and TV shows, and prays that she wont die.
